I have been RUBBISH at writing in this blog. What the hell made me think I would have time to write in a blog with two kids under two?? Mental!
Anyway my eldest has now turned two so it's two kids under three ;) He had his two year check up yesterday and I am very proud of him. He has the vocabulary of a three year old. The health visitor cannot believe that he can count and that he could point out the names of all his body parts and all the animal pictures she showed him. He passed with flying colours and also she tested him with a lot of the three year old tests and he passed them too. He is very clever.
Not happy about the school sitation though. I have discovered that kids are supposed to go to school on the first term after their 5th birthday. BUT he turns 5 on January 6th 2013. And Hasland school has no Easter intake so he won't be able to go until September 2013. So by then he will be 9 months behind where he should be. Doesn't seem very fair. Arthur will be fine as he turns 5 in August 2014 and he will be starting school in September 2014.
Grrrr.

It's fun when they are ill....
Oh yes no sorry that's wrong. It's not fun at all.
Alexander is poorly so wants a lot of attention. It is a good job Arthur is so laid back and asleep a lot of the time. Poor Xander woke yesterday with a temperature of 39.1 and he was shaking. We gave him paracetamol and managed to get some fluid down him but he was upset and didnt understand why he felt poorly. Bless him. He wasn't too bad in himself but then after tea he was sick everywhere. I think he ate too much but he was enjoying his tea (homemade beef and vegetable pie with mashed potatoes).
This morning he was bad again and won't eat his breakfast. He is lying on the sofa at the moment with a blanket on and said 'Xander poorly'. I hate it. I would have it myself 10 times over instead if I could. Hoping it is just his teeth again as we don't want any illnesses not with a brand new baby!
And speaking of brand new babies he peed all over me yesterday. Twice in quick succession! I had to get completely undressed and put all my clothes in the washing machine. Covered in warm wee wee. Nice!

Two little boys had two little toys
They each had a wooden horse.
Hmmm. I wonder if I ought to buy them both a wooden horse now.
Occured to me it might be fun to get my experiences out there of having two little boys under two years old. I am sure 'fun' isn't the word I would use but there maybe some amusement in it for you!
