I have been quite rubbish

I have been RUBBISH at writing in this blog. What the hell made me think I would have time to write in a blog with two kids under two?? Mental!

Anyway my eldest has now turned two so it's two kids under three ;) He had his two year check up yesterday and I am very proud of him. He has the vocabulary of a three year old. The health visitor cannot believe that he can count and that he could point out the names of all his body parts and all the animal pictures she showed him. He passed with flying colours and also she tested him with a lot of the three year old tests and he passed them too. He is very clever.

Not happy about the school sitation though. I have discovered that kids are supposed to go to school on the first term after their 5th birthday. BUT he turns 5 on January 6th 2013. And Hasland school has no Easter intake so he won't be able to go until September 2013. So by then he will be 9 months behind where he should be. Doesn't seem very fair. Arthur will be fine as he turns 5 in August 2014 and he will be starting school in September 2014.

Grrrr.
